Museum in the Park with the Florida Museum of Natural History
April 13, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Join Museum educators Alberto Lopez and Amy Hester and UF entomologist Dr. Lisa Taylor as they lead you on an adventure to learn more about the fascinating world of jumping spiders! This month we are teaming up with The Florida Museum of Natural History to explore trails and figure out the preferred jumping spider habitat.
We will have specimens and larger than life 3-D models for you to observe. There will also be a hike to discover more about jumping spiders and other invertebrates. We will provide nets so everyone can participate in catch and release sampling, allowing us to get up close and personal!
The event is $7/person and we require a paid adult to accompany their child/children.
